Women’s Words Manchester

The voices of Women in Manchester need to be heard!

With open submissions and workshops lead by writer and lecturer Kate Feld, Women’s Words Mcr was conceived to showcase women, sharing their stories, poems and experiences with the view that archives shouldn’t just be about the past but also about women who are living today.

To celebrate the culmination of this year long project we’re inviting everyone to come along to a launch event at Central Library, where the archive will have its permanent home and be accessible to the public.

Come and see what the women of Manchester have to say!

Date & Time: Thu 28 June 2018, drop in from 5:30-7:30pm

Location: Chief Librarian’s Room, 3rd Floor Central Library

St Peter’s Square, Manchester M2 5PD

Women’s Words Mcr is a collaboration with Manchester Women’s Aid, The Pankhurst Trust and Manchester Central Library.
