Curator programme manager
The Pankhurst Trust (Incorporating Manchester Women’s Aid) is seeking a Curator Programme Manager to join our expanding heritage team.

In 2018 we will be celebrating 100 years of the first women’s right to vote in the UK and we need someone with a personal commitment to gender equality and a proven track record in curation and programme management to work with us to capture and cascade the creative activities and events taking place in Manchester to celebrate the achievement of the incredible women who won the vote. And to help us to ensure a permanent home for the Suffragette legacy and naturally this must continue to be here, in radical Manchester.

About the role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for capturing and collating the City’s contributions to VOTE 100 and 2018 centenary events. Building stronger partnerships across the region and document new tools and tactics for engagement and empowerment that will provide a lasting legacy for Manchester and The Pankhurst Centre.
Managing the programme for the Celebrating Suffrage –Political Youth Engagement Project. This is a collaborative, co-design project working with partners to deliver the project and engage with the 1318 year olds involved in the project. Reporting and communication schedules in place and on-line platform developed.
Duration: Fixed term for 12 months
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £25, 000 per annum
