When Logged in. On the top of the screen you will see “+ NEW” Click > Post > Type what you want > To the right of this window can you see ‘categories’ > Click NEWS & then Click PUBLISH in the top right

Sample Event

Hello Alison,

To create an up and coming event,

1 Upload the image you want to display for the event and get the File URL – Such as “http://www.thepankhurstcentre.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/220px-Christabel_Pankhurst.jpg” copy it to your clipboard.

2 Click ” + NEW ” (top bar when logged in) > Post > Type what you want (treat it like a word doc).

3 Scroll down to the bottom of this EDIT POST page (Unpublished) to CUSTOM FIELDS. Change the option to “Thumbnail” and paste the image URL in the VALUE section. Click ADD CUSTOM FIELD

4 To the right of this window you will see a small box saying CATAGORIES – check EVENTS

5 Click PUBLISH in the top right hand corner
